HNC Creative Industries:Television

This course will give you a thorough introduction to working in many of the roles involved in the production of television programmes. Using our editing facilities, industry standard Avid, Adobe and Apple software, professional cameras and hardware, you will learn about camera techniques, lighting, editing and sound before applying this knowledge in the production of various programmes and creative projects.

Course Information

01 Entry

Successful completion of NC Creative Industries or NQ Photography.

Or one of: 1 Higher or equivalent relevant Intermediate 2 courses and/or other modules/units.

Alternatively, other relevant work experience/prior learning may be considered. You will also be required to undertake an interview.

02 Learn

Camera, Lighting, Sound, Editing, Television Scriptwriting, Creative Content Generation, Media Management and Production Skills.

03 Progress

HND Creative Industries: Television (Year 2). Progression to degree level study is also possible.
