School Partnership Programmes

At New College Lanarkshire (NCL) we pride ourselves on having strong relationships with schools, local authorities and employers to create and maintain an engaging and innovative vocational education programme.

The college is eager to play a pivotal role in helping students explore their interests, develop skills, and fulfil their dreams.

Looking ahead to the next academic year, NCL is excited about the prospect of welcoming a fresh cohort of school students into its community.

Choosing the right path

A college learning experience provides an excellent opportunity for young people to access a range of new and exciting subjects that can really boost their confidence as well as significantly enhance their career possibilities.

This programme is specifically designed for students in S4 to S6, as a valuable addition to the Senior Phase of the Curriculum for Excellence. As part of elective choices, students from S4 and above in our partner schools across North and South Lanarkshire are given the chance to include a college programme in their weekly schedule.

Our extensive programme of Higher National Certificate programmes, Foundation Apprenticeships and wider Vocational Programme offering entails more than 2,000 school students either visiting the College or receiving instruction from our educators on a weekly basis.
