NCL on the up!
A national student engagement survey has found that student satisfaction is rising sharply at NCL.
The Scottish Funding Council’s Student Satisfaction and Engagement Survey 2022-23 has found the vast majority of our students are very happy with their experience here.
Among Further Education Students we had the highest response rate in the country of 87% and 94.6% of students said they are satisfied with their learning experience. This is up from 88% the previous year.
Among Higher Education Students the satisfaction rate was 90.9%, beating the national average and up from 84% the previous year.
Professor Christopher Moore, New College Lanarkshire Principal and Chief Executive said it was a ‘strong result for NCL’.
He said: “It is a powerful indicator of the exceptional experience and conditions for learning that our Academic and Professional Services colleagues give our students on a daily basis. I am grateful to our students for this recognition and I thank colleagues for their excellent work.”
