Tunisian partnership deemed great success following college visit

New College Lanarkshire recently welcomed guests from Tunisia as part of the British Council’s International Skills Programme.

Visiting from the National Centre for Continuous Training and Professional Promotion in Tunisia, the group met with members of the College’s Business Development and Commercial Team to discuss their ongoing partnership and share ideas for the future.

Adel Lakhal, Director of the Company Assistance Unit, Sghaier Gharbi, Director of Institute for Work Promotion and Mohammed Ala eddine Hajjaj, Platform Administrator made the trip to the Motherwell Campus to meet with members of the College, alongside the Scottish Council for Development and Industry, North Lanarkshire Council, Lanarkshire Enterprise Services and Skills Development Scotland.

Hazel Scott, International Manager at New College Lanarkshire, said: “It was a pleasure having our Tunisian partners visit the College and we hope that they found it as fruitful as we did.

“We made significant progress on our partnership activities and objectives in both the short and long term.

“We look forward to seeing them again soon.”
