The support you need

We want all students to feel supported throughout their time at New College Lanarkshire.

It’s important to us that everyone – regardless of age, background, ability or previous educational attainment – feels that they have the right environment, resources and backing to complete their studies.

We have a number of teams dedicated to helping you achieve your full personal and academic potential.

Our support for students with complex needs in particular was praised in our Education Scotland review of 2015, which found that Student Advisors “provide effective and discreet support for learners who are care leavers” and that the College is “proactive in providing access for learners who have few or no qualifications or have other barriers to learning”.

We strive to be an inclusive organisation that promotes equality for all – you’ll see posters all over our campuses of our All Equal, All Individual campaign to promote diversity awareness and understanding.
