At New College Lanarkshire (Cumbernauld Campus) we provide high quality early learning and childcare for children from 6 weeks old to starting primary school.
We aim to provide a holistic learning environment that's nurtures and supports children in feeling safe, respected, listened to and included. Using national and local documents we provide a curriculum that promotes children's learning and development.
You should apply for a place at the nursery as soon as you have submitted an application for your college course. Please do not wait until you have been successful in gaining a place in college as all childcare application are allocated on a first come first served basis.
We also work in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council to provide funded place for children aged 3 - 5 years old.

At New College Lanarkshire (Motherwell Campus) we have 2 nurseries offering childcare from 6 weeks – preschool.
Firtrees Nursery is based within the college grounds and Bellwood Nursery is in Carfin.
You should apply for a place at the nursery as soon as you have submitted your course application – do not wait until you receive a course offer as childcare applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis.
Applications for the August intake will be available shortly. We are working to have these applications available after the Easter Break.
At New College Lanarkshire Coatbridge Campus we have a nursery located across from the main college building. We offer childcare for students of the college. We accommodate children aged 1 year to preschool.
You should apply for a place at the nursery as soon as you have submitted your course application – do not wait until you receive a course offer as childcare applications are dealt with on a first come, first served basis. Applications for the August intake are available from 1st April and 1st November for the January intake of courses.
