The Lanarkshire Business Hub’s event welcomed a number of new organisations to its most recent networking breakfast, held in the Crutherland House Hotel in East Kilbride on Thursday 26th April.
The breakfast was followed by a presentation on Making Tax Digital (MTD) from Matt Donnelly, Managing Director of ad+ Chartered Accountants. He gave insight and advice on how to get your business ready for MTD submissions and how businesses can benefit from MTD changes.
Matt outlined the up-to-date position regarding this landmark change, giving practical advice and covering the software and procedural requirements being imposed by HMRC.
The winner of a prize draw held by The Hub at the Lanarkshire Business Show was also drawn at the event, and winner Jan Neilson from Clear Sky Financial Services was presented with a voucher for lunch at one of New College Lanarkshire’s Training Restaurants – Taste in Cumbernauld or ML One in Motherwell.
The Hub’s next event will take place on 24 May at New College Lanarkshire’s Motherwell Campus.
Lanarkshire Business Hub offers local businesses a free forum to come together to meet and share their business knowledge and experiences through networking and business presentations.
