The Lanarkshire Business Hub recently hosted another busy networking breakfast in its Cumbernauld Campus.
The Hub welcomed guest speaker Dr Peter Mowforth, Chief Executive from Indez Ltd., who presented on how to rapidly grow and ecommerce business. Peter provided clear and simple guidelines for maximising profit and growth along with case studies from local companies that have managed to quickly expand into export markets.
He said: “Selling your products and services over the internet has become the primary growth mechanism for many small and medium-sized businesses. These SME businesses often struggle to rapidly develop new sales channels due to missing items of technology, lack of skills, poor advice or incorrect focus around their support and marketing budgets.”
Sponsored by North and South Lanarkshire Councils, the event was run in partnership with the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). The FSB offers members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government. Their aim is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions. As the largest business organisation in the UK, they represent around 1300 members in Lanarkshire.
The next event will be held on Thursday 26th April at Macdonald Crutherland House Hotel in East Kilbride. To register your attendance, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
