We are working alongside a range of colleagues across Scotland in order to identify a robust way forward to ensure that students are not disadvantaged by the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. These circumstances are unprecedented in recent times and they present new and complex problems that must be effectively resolved.
Following the Deputy First Minister’s announcement that the 2020 exam diet is not going ahead, SQA is working to develop an alternative certification model.
Until this is confirmed by SQA, all exams and assessments at NCL are postponed.
We will update you once we have further clarification. In the meantime, your lecturers will be in touch to discuss your learning going forward to ensure your learning and future outcomes are not affected.
The NHS Inform website is an excellent source of information providing the latest updates and advice in regards to the coronavirus.
Staff and students should check this regularly for the latest guidance.
No, the UK and Scottish governments have introduced restrictions on the movement of people and have instructed everyone to stay at home to help reduce the spread of coronavirus.
They have instructed everyone to only leave home for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely cannot be done from home).
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office has advised British people against all non-essential travel worldwide until at least 15 April.
