Wednesday 11th August 2021
Following the First Minister’s confirmation that from Monday 9th August, most of the remaining legal Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted in Scotland, we wanted to let you know about our plans for returning to college this autumn.
When developing these plans, we have followed the Scottish Government’s guidance, which makes it clear that it expects colleges to plan their return to campus carefully and to take extra precautions, until everyone has had the opportunity to be fully vaccinated.
So with that in mind, to keep you all safe, we will be asking all students and staff to maintain one-metre social distancing in all indoor areas of our campuses.
We will also be phasing our return to on-campus learning and teaching.

Your safety will still be our top priority. Here are the safety measures we’ll have in place:
To ensure everyone can keep a safe distance from others while on campus, NCL staff and students will now need to check into a campus before attending, using NCL's contact tracing systems.
