Latest Covid-19 update

Monday 17th January 2022

Our plan is for on-campus learning at NCL to begin again on Monday 24th January on a blended learning basis.

Before you begin to return to campus, we wanted to remind you all about the Covid safety requirements on campus.

  • Before you return to campus for the first time, we strongly encourage you to take a lateral flow test on the day you are due to return. Tests are available from local pharmacies or you can order them online at
  • We would then strongly encourage everyone coming on to campus to take a lateral flow test twice-weekly on a regular basis. Once campuses reopen, you will be able to pick up supplies of lateral flow tests from campus receptions. To pick up tests from campus, you must fill in this form if you have not done this already. If you were already taking part in the testing programme before Christmas, you don’t need to fill in another form.
  • Please make a renewed effort to wear a face covering, unless you are exempt.
  • Please also ensure you follow social distancing of at least 1 metre within all indoor areas.
  • It is vitally important that you use our contact tracing app, Envoy, to check in to campus. This is to allow us to keep track of numbers on campus, and for contact tracing purposes.
  • Please wash or sanitise your hands regularly, and ensure you clean any shared work and study surfaces before and after use.

Thank you all for your continued efforts to keep each other safe.
