Our ICT Helpdesk service is still operating and is available to provide IT support and assistance to all NCL staff and students.
If you have question the ICT team can be reached via email from 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday - Friday. They will aim to reply to your query as quickly as possible, but within 2 hours during opening hours.
You can contact the ICT team directly by emailing ICTHelpdesk@nclan.ac.uk. The team operate Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm and will respond to all enquiries at the earliest opportunity.
On the Office365 login page there is an option named “Can’t access your account”
If you have forgotten your password, please enter your college email address as normal and then click on this option.
You should then follow the onscreen instructions, supplying the information as requested, and select your preferred means of contact (e.g. an alternative email, text message to a mobile phone number, phone call to a mobile phone number, or phone call to an office number/landline).
This will create a system generated email which is sent to the ICT Helpdesk. The ICT Helpdesk will then change the password and contact the student by their preferred means.
Alternatively, you can email firstname.lastname@example.org using an alternative email address. If you choose to use this method please supply the following information:
Students can download and install Microsoft Office from the New College Lanarkshire Office 365 Home Page (click on the “Install Office” link, highlighted in red in the top right-hand corner).
In addition to this there are a number of other free resources available such as Anatomy TV, Box of Broadcasts and Emerald Insight. A full list of these resources, including links for access, is included in the “Online Resources” section of the ICT Starter Pack on Myday.
