NC Radio and Sound Production

This course will introduce you to the key skills needed to produce and present radio programmes – including studio operation, digital recording and editing, presenting, writing for radio and broadcasting using our purpose-built radio studio.

You will develop the skills and attributes needed for radio and sound production including conducting interviews, presenting and producing music and speech programmes, writing and producing adverts and radio dramas. 

Additionally, you will work with other music and sound production students conducting outside broadcasts for the College radio station, Radioactive Scotland.

One of:

  • 4 National 5 passes.
  • 4 Standard Grade passes.
  • Equivalent groups of modules, units or courses at Intermediate 1/2.

Relevant experience may also be considered. All applicants will be required to undertake an interview.
