Hairdressing for Beginners
Overview
This free short course will introduce the candidate to a fun and relaxed approach to styling hair. You will learn how to use styling tools and products when being creative in styling hair. You will learn the importance of hair sectioning, styling, plaiting and twisting to create your own interpretation of modern day looks.
By practicing with straighteners, triple barrel wavers, crimpers, conical wands, and many other styling tools, this will allow you express your own creativity with Long Hair Design.
You will also learn the importance of using styling and finishing products and their benefits to the hair and the client.
There is no better way to gain knowledge than by having fun as you learn.
Entry
There are no formal entry requirements for this short course however the candidate should have a keen interest in the Hairdressing Industry and be willing to have fun while learning, be able to work with others and also to work independently when required.
Learn
The candidate will learn the art of Styling Hair and Long Hair Design, creating curls, movement and textured looks. You will learn the benefit of using styling and finishing products when creating your personalised look.
