Health Care and Social Services
This course is an opportunity for individuals who have a genuine interest in Care to study at SCQF level 4.
The course will include a variety of units including Human Development, Social Influences, Families in a Modern Society, Communication and Life Sciences.
In addition individuals will be able to study the National Progression Award in Mental Health and Wellbeing.
Although there is no formal placement all applicants are subject to enhance disclosure checks.
No formal entry requirements. Applicants must have a genuine interest in care and provide one suitable reference.
Previous care experience would be an advantage but not essential.
A range of health and social care subjects designed to offer applicants the opportunity to study both disciplines.
The course is designed for progression to the Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification or for applicants to seek employment within the Care sector following successful completion.
