Introduction to Criminology with Cybersecurity
This new programme will cover various aspects of Criminology as well as SQA's National Progression Award in Cybersecurity. The course is aimed at those with a keen interest in studying crime and in how we can develop technical strategies to mitigate against the fast-growing economic and social problem that is Cybersecurity.
This course is the first of its kind being offered in Scotland and offers students a unique opportunity to study one of the fastest growing industries in the world.
This is an entry-level programme. A minimum of two National 4’s or another relevant NQ programme would be preferred. All applications will be considered.

- Introduction to Criminology
- Data Security
- Criminology: Crime Scenes
- Psychology: Individual Behaviour
- Modern Policing
- Digital Forensics
- Ethical Hacking
The course is therefore an interesting mixture of Criminology, Psychology, Communication and three Computing units.
