Introduction to Science and Leadership
Overview
The aim of this course is to provide students with an introduction to the subject area and develop the skills and ability, both academically and socially, to successfully progress to the next level within The Department of Lanarkshire Institute of Science and Technology. Students will explore environmental science topics alongside developing young STEM leadership skills. Students will benefit from the wraparound support offered by the Department of Access and Progression in relation to confidence building and enhanced core skills.
Entry
No formal minimum entry requirements, however students should show an interest in progression routes within the curriculum area.
