This full-time course introduces the various careers within this exciting and evolving industry, and the skills expected by record labels, artist managers and music events companies making possible new, extraordinarily engaging and immersive opportunities for artists and their fans.
Today’s music market is the most competitive in memory. Fans are enjoying more music than ever and in so many different and new ways. Today, there are no barriers to entry; anyone can record a song and post it for the world to enjoy. That’s an enormous opportunity. However, with some 60,000 songs uploaded every single day to one leading platform alone, learn the key skills and abilities to cut through and get an artist noticed.

Three National 4 awards (or equivalent)
Successful completion of a relevant access course or an appropriate group of National Qualification units
Applicants who do not meet the above, but have relevant experience or alternative qualifications, will also be considered
You should have a basic understanding of English and ICT
All applicants will be required to undertake an interview
This course will combine knowledge with practical experience taught by our practising industry experts where you’ll learn in class as well as receiving real event experience at events throughout the year to help you pursue a career in the vibrant and dynamic world of the Music Industry. You'll enjoy location visits to venues, creating your own events and pitching to real life clients showcasing your entrepreneurial skills.
