Overview


This course will give you a thorough introduction to photography and the broadcast industries. You'll learn the basics of photography, how to use a DSLR camera and light for camera. You’ll also learn how to plan, produce and edit a short documentary film using industry-standard Avid software in our custom-built editing facilities. The course is highly practical and project-based, and you will complete a portfolio of work throughout the year.

During the course, students are supplied with a equipment to use for practical work in class,  on successful completion of the course, students in receipt of a bursary or EMA can retain this. (Subject to funding)
