New College Lanarkshire prides itself on having strong relationships with schools, local authorities and employers.
The Schools Development Team within the College aims to create unique, exciting and insightful opportunities for school pupils to sample College life and the many vocational opportunities on offer at New College Lanarkshire.
Our comprehensive schools programme sees more than 2,000 school pupils either visiting the College or being taught by College lecturers every week.
We are always looking to find innovative ways to improve our work with local schools and we welcome input from teachers, parents and pupils.
There’s no better way for school pupils to familiarise themselves with our six campuses, our fantastic facilities and our friendly staff than by coming to visit us.
We host a number of events every year encouraging pupils to try their hands at some of the vocational courses that we offer.
New College Lanarkshire offers twelve Foundation Apprenticeship frameworks including Creative and Digital Media, Engineering, IT, Science and Social Services.
These programmes have been developed by Skills Development Scotland to help young people gain valuable, real-world work experience and access work-based learning while still at school.
