The Higher Psychology course consists of five key topics and is a research-based subject, which provides the opportunity to conduct practical research. This research investigation forms the course work element of this course, is externally marked and must be undertaken in accordance with ethical standards. There is also an external exam.
Six additional evening classes will be added on an alternative evening between January and April to facilitate the preparation of your coursework.
Standard Grade Credit/Intermediate 2 /National 5 English or other Higher qualifications would be advantageous.
You will develop knowledge of theories and concepts under the following headings:
HNC or HND Social Sciences (which includes Psychology) or apply to study Psychology at university.
