British Council International Skills Partnerships

Did you know that New College Lanarkshire is actively engaged in two British Council International Skills partnership projects?

The partnerships bring together UK organisations with leading counterpart organisations around the world in order to deliver innovative skills development projects.

International skills partnerships cover a wide range of sectors and a number of themes, including employer engagement, quality assurance, entrepreneurship development, and progression routes. In addition, using the cultural resources of the UK, the British Council creates friendly knowledge and understanding between the people of the UK and other countries.

New College Lanarkshire is partnered with the National Centre of Training and Professional Promotion, a Government Institute in Tunisia to collaborate on methods of engagement for young people, employers and the labour market.

South Africa:

New College Lanarkshire is partnered with Central Johannesburg College, a Further Education College, to develop models which will facilitate apprenticeship programme delivery for specific skills required by the Auto industry in South Africa and Scotland.
