The EIS Union has proposed strike action of teaching staff which will take place on:
All classes will be cancelled unless lecturers have specifically told students to attend.
Campuses will remain open for private study for students studying for exams or assessments.

All nurseries will remain open
All evening classes will be cancelled unless informed otherwise by the class lecturer
Funding or bursaries will not be affected.
No, the strike action is due to take place in Colleges throughout Scotland.
This strike action is as a result of a national ballot which was undertaken by the EIS union – a union which represents teaching staff.

No, only members of EIS can strike, which means that it only applies to teaching staff.
