HNC Additional Support Needs: Supporting the Individual.
This one year course is for people working or intending to work with individuals of all ages who have additional support needs (ASN). You will develop the appropriate knowledge, skills and attitude to work effectively with individuals and multi–disciplinary agencies within education and social services.
PDA Learner Support.
This PDA is ideally suited to learning assistants and facilitators who support learners with disabilities and/or additional support needs.
Developed in partnership with employers and industry, this course has been created to reflect current practice in support for learning. Candidates will learn how different support strategies can help manage challenging behaviour, as well as help them to develop communication to encourage independence within the learners.
PDA Supported Employment Practice.
This qualification is for individuals who are involved in supporting clients with additional support needs access employment and/or work placement opportunities.
The award is to support professionals who wish to further their skills and contribute to continuing their professional development.
