A place for all

Wellbeing Academies

At New College Lanarkshire, we know that feeling supported makes a real difference to how well you learn, grow and enjoy your time at college.

That’s why we have dedicated Wellbeing Academies on each of our main campuses. Welcoming, supportive spaces designed around you.

What are our Wellbeing Academies?

Our Wellbeing Academies are physical spaces where you can access support, guidance and opportunities to help you succeed both in your studies and in everyday life.

They’ve been created to make it easy for every student to get the right support, at the right time, in a friendly and inclusive environment.

What support is available?

In our Wellbeing Academies, you can access a range of support in one place, including:

  • Emotional wellbeing support - Speak to trained staff and access services that support your mental health and wellbeing.
  • Financial advice and guidance - Get help with budgeting, funding, and managing your money while you study.
  • Social, fitness and wellbeing activities - Take part in activities that help you connect with others, stay active and feel part of the college community.
  • Advice and signposting - We’ll help you find the right support, whether that’s within the college or through trusted external partners.
Working in partnership

The Wellbeing Academies work in partnership with organisations including NHS Lanarkshire and Motherwell Citizens Advice Bureau, alongside other community and wellbeing partners.

This means you have access to trusted advice and professional support, right on campus.
