New College Lanarkshire’s specialist sports and fitness centre has the facilities to help you achieve your goals.
Our Broadwood Stadium Sports Campus, based in Cumbernauld, is home to a host of top-flight facilities to help students fulfil their potential.
It boasts purpose-built ICT classrooms and a well-equipped private gym, which includes fixed weight machines, treadmills, exercise bikes, step machines and rowing machine.
Students have the chance to train and play in Broadwood Stadium, which seats just under 8,000 people.
Many of the teaching staff at New College Lanarkshire are former professional footballers or coaches.
The Campus has a partnership with Clyde Football Club, which is based at Broadwood, in which highly-skilled students on the NQ Football Performance programme can be considered for the club’s under-20 side.
The NL Leisure facilities within Broadwood, which students can access, has five-a-side and seven-a-side pitches, tennis courts, sports hall, dance studios and a fitness suite.
Palacerigg Country Park, Cumbernauld Theatre, Broadwood Loch, Colzium Estate in Kilsyth and Andy Scott’s 10m-high statue Arria are all worth checking out.
Broadwood Stadium is home to a £420,000 national BMX track allowing racing up to Pro Circuit and Youth Olympic level.
