The biggest of our six campuses is a £70million complex that sits at the heart of the former Ravenscraig Steelworks site.

The main building houses five storeys of state-of-the-art teaching and leisure spaces. On the ground floor you’ll find the hair and beauty salon, the MLOne training restaurant and The Social chill-out space. The first-floor internet café and the second and third-floor Library & Resource Centres are particularly well-used for individual or group study sessions.

The engineering building is where automotive, joinery, welding, construction and mechanical engineering students hone their hands-on skills in workshops, and in a purpose-built £2.3million HGV Training Centre big enough to house six double decker buses that opened in 2014.

The Motherwell Campus is also home to our distinctive Halls of Residence building, boasting 49 en-suite, single study bedrooms that can be used by full or part-time students.

Why Motherwell?

Opened in August 2009 and costing over £70m, the Motherwell Campus offers a wide range of courses across six faculties and has some of the best facilities and equipment in the area.

Motherwell Campus is friendly and welcoming. Students are on first-name terms with their lecturers and you can drop in to talk to staff whenever you need help.
