Working with New College Lanarkshire

Work For Us

There’s a quotation from Scots-born philanthropist Andrew Carnegie that helps to sum up our College ethos: “There is little success where there is little laughter.”

We believe that a successful learning environment needs an element of fun – and our staff are key to making that happen.

We have around 1000 employees working across our six campuses in Lanarkshire and East Dunbartonshire. And we are all working towards the same goals: to enlighten, engage and enable people to improve their life chances through education and training.

We pride ourselves on our modern teaching spaces, our up-to-date technology, our relaxation areas, and our positive, upbeat atmosphere.

Our teaching staff work across 14 departments. Our support staff help make it possible for us to deliver learning to more than 15,000 students, apprentices and trainees who access our courses and employability programmes annually.

There are regular staff events and everyone is kept well-informed of all goings-on through our twice-monthly Natter newsletter.

We earned the title of ‘Best in the UK’ three times in four years at the WorldSkills UK contest, so if you think you have what it takes to make New College Lanarkshire a better place to learn, then take a look at our current vacancies on the My Job Scotland website.
