Overview

This course supports students to understand why individuals use care services. It will develop knowledge, values and attributes required of a student studying at this level to actively support the health and wellbeing of others. Furthermore, it will develop a skills set to enable students to work in contemporary care practice in the field of health and social care. The course has been purposefully designed to engage students in active learning as they investigate care issues and topics relevant to this profession.

Entry

Students should be working at a minimum of National 4. No qualifications if you are a mature student (over the age of 21).
