Vehicle Body Repair - Level 5
Overview
This qualification covers the technical needs for today’s accident repair industry, including: basic body repair techniques and procedures. It provides essential knowledge for the body repairer working on a wide range of vehicles in all types of garages, dealerships and specialist body repair shops.
The qualification is recognised by the Sector Skills Council as a VRQ/Technical Certificate and can be used as knowledge evidence in a related Modern Apprenticeship programme.
Entry
Level 3 or 4 qualification in a related subject area or relevant experience.

This programme involves studying both the underpinning knowledge and practical aspects of:
- Removing and fitting non-welded non-structural body panels
- Removing and replacing non-structural body panels
- Repairing non-structural body panels
