Vehicle Body Repair - Level 6
Overview
This qualification covers the technical needs for today’s accident repair industry, including advanced body repair and alignment techniques and procedures. It provides essential knowledge for the body repairer working on a wide range of vehicles in all types of garages, dealerships and specialist body repair shops.
The qualification is recognised by the Sector Skills Council as a VRQ/Technical Certificate and can be used as knowledge evidence in a related Modern Apprenticeship programme.
Entry
SCQF Level 5 qualification in a related subject area or relevant experience.

- Removing, Replacing and Repairing Body Panels
- Identifying and Rectifying Body Misalignment (Jig Work)
- MIG and MAG welding
- MIG Brazing techniques
