A band made up of music students and lecturers are to perform in a popular Glasgow venue this Easter weekend.
The Rag Band comprises students from the Access to Creative Industries: Music and Sound programme, alongside staff members Darren Paramasivan, Bertie Fritsch and Tommy Marshall.
Having previously played at gigs including the MugStock festival, The Rag Band will headline the event at Glasgow’s Stereo on Monday 2 April from 7pm.
Tommy Marshall said: “The band are very excited to be headlining the event in Glasgow, joining some fantastic local talent on stage.
“The staff and students have been rehearsing hard for it and it would be great to see some NCL support there!”
They will join another five bands at the music event, Make Room, which is promoted by former New College Lanarkshire degree student, Ian Sorby.
Other performances on the night will include Jimi & The East side Story, Robbie Mallon, Erin Friel, The Goldilocks Zone and My Generation.
The event is open to over 18s only and is £5 entry. Tickets can be purchased here: https://tickets-scotland.com/maker
