Last month’s Lanarkshire Business Hub saw over 30 members attend an early morning networking breakfast hosted by Viridor at their Recycling Plant in Newhouse.
Viridor is one of the UK’s leading recycling, renewable energy and waste management companies and after an hour of networking, delegates heard more about glass recycling processes from Hugh Booth, Commercial Manager, Chris Sloey, Account Manager and John Elliot, Newhouse Production Manager. John also took us on a virtual tour within his presentation and those that wanted to see more donned their PPE for a tour of the plant.
We have already received good feedback on our event including:
“I enjoyed the whole nature of the event. The networking is a fantastic opportunity for us as self-employed where we have a chance to work with larger companies.”
“Very informative presentation by all the VIRIDOR staff.”
This month the Hub is hosting a Future Skills Event in partnership with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) at Business Gateway, Atrium, Coatbridge on Wednesday the 28 November.
