North Lanarkshire Council Road Safety Team visited our Cumbernauld, Coatbridge and Motherwell Campuses last week to raise awareness of road safety issues.
Barbara Ramage, North Lanarkshire Council Safe and Sustainable Travel Officer, said “Thanks to the College for this great opportunity to engage with staff and students.
“We had a great time chatting about various road safety issues, in particular the issue of drink and drug driving.
“Hopefully everyone we spoke to will now be more aware of their responsibilities as drivers and contribute to making the roads in North Lanarkshire safer for everyone.
Stuart Matson, Community Programme Manager at NCL, said: “We were delighted to give North Lanarkshire Council the opportunity to engage with staff and learners to raise awareness of these important issues.
“We have plans to continue this partnership supporting NLC in addressing road safety in our communities.”
