Information Security Professional

To be eligible for this course, a good group of Standard Grades or National 5s in the areas of mathematics, computing and/or science subjects is requested. One Higher in mathematics, computing and/or science subjects is desirable.

The Modern Apprenticeship will cover areas such as Network Security, Secure Systems Development, Information Assurance and Penetration Testing.

Apprentices will gain a qualification of Modern Apprenticeship Certificate for Information Security Professionals.

In addition to the MA Certificate there may be opportunities to achieve additional qualifications from vendors such as Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA or Oracle. These can be discussed and tailored to your request.

This Apprenticeship framework provides the skills, knowledge and competence required to become a junior Information Security Professional.
