Overview

This course helps students understand why people use care services and the importance of supporting their health and wellbeing.

Students will develop the knowledge, values, and skills needed to work effectively in today’s health and social care settings. The course focuses on active learning, encouraging students to explore real-life care situations and issues relevant to the profession.

By the end of the course, students will be better prepared to support others with compassion, confidence, and professionalism in contemporary care practice.

Entry

Students should be working at a minimum of National 4. No qualifications required if you are a mature student (over the age of 21).
