Entry
Entry is at the discretion of the centre however examples of formal entry qualifications include:
- SVQ at SCQF levels 5 in an appropriate subject
- Occupationally relevant skills and experience
Learn
The course may include the following content:
- Character Make-up for TV and Theatre
- SFX
- Wigs and Postiche
- Total Look for TV and Theatre
- Social Media Techniques for Makeup Artists
- Body Painting
- Fantasy Hair and Make-up
- Commercial Experience
The above units are examples of what will be delivered within this course but may vary across campuses.
There will be ongoing assessments which will include practical tasks and portfolio development.
Applicants who meet the entry requirements will have access to a make-up kit and appropriate protective clothing.
You may be required to attend 1 twilight session per week
