Cumbernauld Campus will run an SQA qualification.
This course is for learners to embark upon a programme that is popular, engaging and will equip them with the knowledge, understanding and skills required for a career in the Hospitality industry, specifically related to Professional Cookery & Hospitality.
The course is designed to ensure that learners experience a realistic working environment and consists of both Professional Cookery and Hospitality related activity, delivered in industrial kitchens and a modern training restaurant environment. The course is designed for anyone that strives to work in or develop their skills in a professional cookery or hospitality orientated environment.
Entry
No formal qualifications required. Most importantly a desire to learn and a passion for food and drinks will support your application to ensure success at your interview. We also welcome mature students wishing to re-skill or pursue a career in professional cookery or hospitality.
Learn
The kitchen-based tuition includes preparing and cooking dishes, breads and pastry products within our realistic teaching environment. The restaurant-based tuition includes a range of food and drink service styles to reflect on current industry.
