Student and lecturers from two colleges and universities in China recently bid farewell to staff and students at New College Lanarkshire after spending eight weeks at the College on an educational and cultural and training programme.
The group, made up of seven students and six lecturers from Shijiazhuang Medical College in Hebei Province and Chifeng University in Inner Mongolia, came to visit the College's state-of-the-art dental facilities in the Coatbridge Campus to further their education in dentistry, general nursing and life science.
During their visit, they took part in classroom observations and practices within Dental Nursing as well as experiencing different teaching methods.
They also took part in bespoke English for Speakers of other Languages lessons and enjoyed various cultural activities organised by the Students' Association, including Edinburgh Dungeons, Strathclyde Park Bonfire Night, a Taste of Scotland event and shopping trips to Glasgow and Edinburgh. They also made trips to London and the Highlands on the weekends.
