JUST finished exams and not sure what to do next?
New College Lanarkshire is hosting a series of Open Days that could be the first step to realising your ‘Skillset for life’.
The events will allow school-leavers, career changers or anyone looking for a new challenge to browse hundreds of courses starting in August 2019 or January 2020 across its six faculties.
The Open Days will take place at:
- Cumbernauld Campus on Tuesday, June 11th;
- Coatbridge Campus on Tuesday, June 18th;
- Broadwood Campus on Wednesday, June 19th;
- Motherwell Campus on Thursday, June 20th.
All events will take place from 2pm until 6pm.
The events aim to offer an informal yet informative introduction to the variety of learning opportunities, facilities and student support services at its campuses in Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, Hamilton, Kirkintilloch, Motherwell and specialist sports campus, Broadwood.
Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions of curriculum staff, find out which courses best suit their interests and qualifications, and find out more about the numerous articulation routes to university.
Carolyn Laird, Assistant Principal of Learning & Teaching, said: “New College Lanarkshire is proud to offer more than 500 courses ranging from Foundation Apprenticeships to degrees, alongside flexible study patterns that extend from evening study to full-time.
“It can be quite overwhelming for school-leavers to decide which route to take, so our Open Days aim to help those who attend make informed career choices and offer suggestions for course options that perhaps haven’t already been considered.
“We look forward to welcoming everyone to our Open Days to learn more about our tremendous facilities and exciting study opportunities.”
