The Lanarkshire Region is served by two colleges of Further Education, New College Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire College and covers three local authority areas, East Dunbartonshire, North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire.

The Lanarkshire Board has responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality further education as set out in the Regional Outcome Agreement with the Scottish Funding Council on behalf of the Scottish Government. Both Lanarkshire colleges have highly dedicated staff and excellent modern facilities, focused on giving students the best college learning experience.

The Board meetings will be at 5.00pm in the relevant campus Boardroom apart from the December meeting which will be at 10.30 am with Christmas Lunch to follow.
The CSAO Committee will be at 12.30 pm in the relevant campus Boardroom.
The Audit Committee will be at 5pm after the CSAO Committee except for the December meeting where it will meet at 4pm before the Special Meeting of the Finance Committee which will be at 6pm.
The RGP will be held at 3.00 pm in the relevant campus boardroom followed by the Finance Committee.
The Finance Committee will be at 5.30pm in the relevant campus boardroom. The meeting of the Finance Committee at 6 pm on the 1st December 2025 is a special meeting to consider the annual accounts and to make a recommendation to the Board at its meeting on the 8^th December 2025.
There will be ad hoc meetings of the Chairs’ Committee and the Remuneration Committee to be announced during the year.
There may be additional meetings of the Board if required.
