The music industry is one of the UK’s largest creative industries – and our BA Music Business programme opens doors for those with talent, drive and ambition to forge varied, lifelong careers within this dynamic and ever-changing industry. This one-year degree course builds on subjects introduced in HND Music Business and provides the opportunity to focus your learning towards your specific career ambitions.

Entry

To be accepted on to the BA Music Industries programme, it is a requirement that students have previously gained an HND in Music Business (Grade A or B)* or an HND in a related subject.

*Applicants with a Graded Unit C Pass will be considered on an individual basis.

Learn

Learners will develop their skill set utilising the department’s state-of-the-art facilities and will collaborate with students from BA Sound Production and BA Music Performance across our main campuses. Students will embark on practical industry-facing and market-facing projects and will engage with theoretical learning and research projects based on current industry needs. Modules include Marketing Music: Principles, Practice and Psychology and New Music Media, with various optional modules to suit your individual career plan.
