NQ Digital Design & Web Development
Overview
The NQ Digital Design & Web Development is intended for those interested in pursuing a career in Web Design & Development, including online games and website creation. This course is the perfect choice if you are looking to develop skills already gained, or an ideal starting point if you already hold a good selection of National 5 qualifications.
Entry
One of the following:
- Four National 5 passes (preferably including Computing, Science or Mathematics).
- NQ qualification at Level 5 in a computing-related area.
Previous employment or practical experience may be considered in place of formal entry requirements.
Please note: Entry is also subject to a satisfactory interview, and an academic reference may be requested.
Learn
You'll learn skills and gain knowledge from the following areas:
- Web Design and Development
- App and Software Development
- Mobile Technology and Mobile Apps
- Digital Media - Images and Video
- Databases and MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access may be options.
You will also develop personal and employability skills to prepare you for either further study or employment.
