No formal qualifications are required for this course, although an interest in Art/Animation is necessary.

Learn

You'll start by learning the essential techniques that every animator needs: expressive line work, accurate proportions, dynamic shading, and confident sketching. Through a mix of guided exercises, creative challenges, and plenty of practice, you’ll grow more comfortable drawing from observation and imagination.

We’ll explore a wide range of traditional tools—pencils, pens, charcoal, and more—plus get a taste of digital drawing to help bridge your hand-drawn work with modern animation techniques. Along the way, you’ll also learn how to stylize your drawings and develop your own visual flair.

Best of all, you’ll be learning in a relaxed, social environment where creativity is encouraged and collaboration is part of the fun. Whether you're swapping tips, sharing ideas, or cheering each other on, you'll be part of a supportive community of aspiring artists.

By the end of the course, you’ll have created a mini-portfolio of your progress—showing off your skills and setting you up with a strong foundation for animation or other creative arts.
