
C&G 2377 PAT Testing
Overview
This course will allow candidates to undertake both testing and management of data of Electrical Portable Appliances. The course is structured to cover both certificates with practical content included. The course covers: Class 1, 2 and 3 and business equipment testing; competence; procedures to HSG 107; electric shock; management of data and record keeping; legal requirements; frequency of test; statistics and risk assessment.
Start dates are subject to change depending on sufficient numbers.
Course structure can be altered to meet employer needs.
Entry
Candidates should be familiar with electrical systems and the hazards of electricity.
Learn
The course combines two City and Guilds Certificates (2 parts):
Part 1 - 2377-32 - Level 3 Certificate in Management of Electrical Equipment Maintenance
Part 2 – 2377-22 - Level 3 Certificate in Inspection & Test of Electrical Equipment
(Both parts involve open book, online exams with multiple choice questions.)
