ESOL Literacies Pre-Beginner
Overview
This is a pre-beginner ESOL Literacies English language course and is suitable for anyone who has no English language skills.
This course aims to develop your language skills so that you can understand and use the English language. You will be able to process information more easily and will be able to apply your knowledge of English in practical and relevant contexts.
You will be assessed on an ongoing basis using practical assessments and assignments. There is no final examination.
Pre-beginner classes will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays 9-11am at our Coatbridge Campus.
*Some students may be eligible for a fee waiver for this course.
Entry
Applicants will be required to take a placement test prior to starting the course.

Literacies 1- The alphabet, personal identity, house, home and environment, daily life
Literacies 2 - Free time and leisure, health, shopping, travel, food and drink
