HNC Manufacturing Engineering Day Release - Year 2
Overview
This course provides fundamental knowledge and practical skills required to progress within the Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering discipline.
Entry
Applicants must be employed as a trainee and/or apprentice in a related industry at the time of application. Employer references are required.
Successful completion of HNC Manufacturing Engineering Year 1.
Learn
The course includes:
- Mathematics for Engineering 1
- Quality Management an Introduction, Engineering Drawing, Communication, Computer Numerical Control,
- Process and Equipment Selection, Engineering Principles,
- Material Selection, CAD, Economics of Manufacture
- Graded Unit 1.
There is continuous assessment throughout and an external graded unit examination at the end of the course.
Students should be in full-time employment.
