As part of the course, we will spend time developing your interview, CV skills, Career Planning and IT to ensure your confidence is sky-high when taking your next steps be it employment, college or further training. Prince’s Trust Team will be split into two six week programmes, allowing new learners to start in late November. During the course you can also achieve various Prince’s Trust and SQA units along with REHIS Food Hygiene, IOSH Working Safely and other non-accredited units which will improve your confidence and skills. Team is completely free and won’t affect any payments you receive from the Job Centre. You will also undertake some fun outdoor activities to work as a part of team.
We appreciate it may be daunting to return to education. Prince’s Trust teams will be delivered using a blended learning approach. This means you will have some “face to face” support in college, no more than 3 days per week, with two days support online.
Help is on hand if you do not have these. Devices can be given to you allowing you to work from home. All campus and online activities will be done in line with the current government recommendations in response to the current COVID 19 restrictions.
Contact the Team Leaders (contact details below) to discuss starting the team programme on the 19th April 2021.
