Whether you’re looking for help with your studies, personal challenges or just not sure where to start, we’re here for you. Email our Student Service team and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Educational Support

Need a bit of extra support? We’re here to help.

At NCL, we have a wide range of support in place for students who need it. This includes help with dyslexia, mental health, English language, behaviour, emotional or social difficulties, or anything else that might affect your learning.

We want everyone to get the most out of their time at college. If you have a disability or need extra support, let us know as early as you can. This helps us work with you to plan the right support, including any financial help you might be entitled to.

You can choose to tell us about any support needs on your course application form. If you do, someone from our Educational Support (ES) team will be in touch. We’ll chat with you about what support or changes you might need.

Our ES team is here to make sure your learning needs are met. We’re all about helping you feel confident in your studies and reach your full potential.

Student Advisers

We offer a safe, confidential space where you can talk things through, get advice or find the right support. Whether you're facing personal challenges, need extra help or have questions about things like course appeals, we're here to listen and guide you.

You don’t have to face things alone, our experienced team is always ready to support you throughout your journey at NCL.

Student Retention Team

We’re here to support your attendance and help you stay on track. If you’ve missed a class and haven’t been in touch, we’ll reach out to check in and see how you’re doing.

Our goal is to offer early support and guide you to the right help if you need it. We also encourage you to take charge by self-authorising absences and keeping an eye on your attendance.

Student Records

We’re the behind-the-scenes team supporting you with all the important paperwork throughout your time at college. From enrolment and student ID cards to self-certifications, absence forms, council tax exemption letters and more.

We also help with results, student funding queries like SAAS or loans, and can provide references when needed.
