Electrical Installation Pre-Apprenticeship
Overview
This course is for you if you are interested in a career as an electrician. The course is designed to give you an insight into the Modern Apprenticeship in electrical installation. The objective on this course is to prepare students for the working environment and we hope to secure work placements through our employers' forum.
Entry
Ideally you need Maths, English and a Science subject at Intermediate 2 or equivalent, although to progress to MA you will be required to complete SECTT selection test, so this would be an advantage. Applicants must be 16 years old by the start date of the course due to health and safety regulations.
This is a Bursary/SDS funded course. Non-qualifying candidates may have to pay for their own travel costs to work placement.
Learn
You will participate in practical, theory and electrical science subjects. You may also be offered work placement experience (non-paid) opportunities with our Electrical Contractors.
