Painting & Decorating: Pre-Apprentice
Overview
This course allows students who didn’t manage to secure a place on a course in August a chance to join a group and work in a trade area that suits their specific requirements. It will provide students with a range of skills, industry-recognised qualifications and certificates that will assist them in the pursuit of a construction-related apprenticeship.
This course focusses on Painting & Decorating for the remainder of the academic year. Studying for a City and Guilds qualification.
Entry
Along with general experience of mature students. National 4 qualifications in Construction or similar technical discipline would be a considerable advantage to prospective students. Applicants must be 16 years old to commence this course without exception.

The course is predominantly practical based in workshop and project areas.
